This is a blog to organize the ideas, the photos, the documentation, and everything else that may come along in the process of building my cabin in the North woods of Wisconsin.

I began the process in the summer of 2009 with no prior experience in construction and with the intention of following the path many in the past have taken in building a small cabin in the woods and experiencing life at it's most simple, wild roots.

A small thank you to those who assisted me with either information, tools, labor, or encouragement.

    Cool Idea I have seen plans for tiny houses and they are a perfect idea for this type of setting. Yours looks pretty well designed and constructed and some of the recycled materials are a great idea. Hope you have time to enjoy it further camping and cooking and stuff like that - great way to be outdoors without having to carry too much gear every time.
